ECHL – Stingray’s Todd Ford Named Goaltender of the Year

April 8, 2010

4/8/10

A very hardy congratulations to the South Carolina Stingray’s Todd Ford who has been named ECHL “Goaltender of the Year” for the 2009 – 2010 season. He’s had a great season and there are some very proud people out there who are thrilled that he got this top honor!! Go Todd!! Go Goalies!!

You know what other netminder came out of the ECHL? That’s right – Tim Thomas, who also made the 2009 All-Star team, won the Vezina and the William Jennings trophies as well.

It’s always nice to see the keepers of the net get kudos, especially when it’s an episode of “Goalies Gone Good”. Of course – sometimes, it’s even better to see “Goalies Gone Wild” featuring this episode called “South Paw ya to the Coconata”?!

Remember – Goalies do it for all 60!  Get your goalie on! GO CAPS!!!!!  peace – mia (sciencegirl99@excite.com)
